This paper conducts an in-depth study and analysis of the practice and application of teaching English pronunciation to children using AR (augmented reality) game assistance. Finally, the results and their implications for theory and practice are discussed. Moreover, LCA with covariates, such as gender, grade, achievement in ESc, and the use of plan revealed the association of the above variables with the AT skill-levels. Latent class analysis (LCA), a robust multivariate method for categorical data, was implemented, which distinguished two clusters/latent classes corresponding to two distinct levels of AT. The AT test comprised of four puzzles with 4, 6, 9, and 12 pieces respectively, and the puzzle-solving performance was measured at the nominal level (success/failure).

The assessment of AT was based on mental tasks involving puzzles which require AT abilities. The main pillar of the work is the computational environment PhysGramming. The applicability of the specific proposed tool, which concerns merely the algorithmic thinking (AT), was tested within the Environmental Study course (ESc). This chapter presents part of a wider project aimed at developing computational thinking assessment instruments for first and second grade primary school students. And finally it examines challenges teachers face when teaching vocabulary using games to young learners. After that it investigates the practical implications of using games to teach vocabulary that includes the implementation of vocabulary games and some examples of games that could be used to teach vocabulary to children. Then it discusses the importance of using games in teaching vocabulary and in what way using them is helpful. This paper deals with a literature review of teaching English vocabulary to young learners using games. The aim of this paper is to prove that games are effective tools when devised to explain vocabularies and they make it easier to remember their meanings. Like any other children, Saudis accept new foreign languages easily, but they get bored very fast if the teacher is teaching them using the old conventional methods and techniques. English is taught as a main subject in kindergarten and elementary schools. Over the last few decades, teaching English become a phenomenon in Saudi Arabia, especially to young learners.
